Work

The cycle of scientific works consists of 3 monographs, 5 articles in professional journals of Ukraine, 1 article in foreign scientific journal, 6 - in materials of scientific conferences, 2 - in other journals published in the years 2010-2014. A comprehensive study on the development and justification of scientific approaches to reform the organizational and economic mechanism of waste management in the context of the European experience has been presented at the cycle of scientific works. This is achieved through diversification of tools, revision of outdated methodological and methodical approaches to the formation of separate tools, strengthening the incentive function of the mechanism and the creation of preconditions for the formation of a sustainable financing of waste management. Scientific novelty lies in the fact that for the first time defined the methodological background and basis for the formation of the current organizational and economic mechanism of waste management with a focus on improving its efficiency, based on the ideology of European approaches to waste management. The implementation of the proposals submitted in the cycle of scientific works gives an opportunity to create a more sustainable system of financing of waste management, which will contribute to the development of infrastructure on waste treatment, attracting additional investment resources and reduce the negative impact on the environment. Practical significance: the results, conclusions and recommendations contained in scientific works have important theoretical, methodological and practical significance for the local and central authorities, including the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine, the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Economy of Ukraine - in regard to improving the management on waste and the gradual transition to European standards, the development of targeted programs to improve the regulatory and legal regulation in this field, the formation of tariff and tax policy. The results of the research are set out in 17 publications, including 3 monographs, 5 articles in professional journals of Ukraine, 1 article in foreign scientific journal, 6 − in materials of scientific conferences, 2 − in other journals. The author's work has been tested more than 5 scientific journals. Total citation index is more than 6 (according to international scientific database Google−Academy), h-index = 2.
