For proper preparation of wet material for storage, as well as the choice of storage parameters for raw materials, it is necessary to take into account the ratio of free and associated with the material moisture. The properties of bound moisture, depending on the form of connection with the material, can differ significantly from the reference data, therefore, when studying materials that are complex in structure it is advisable to rely on experimental data. Most of the existing devices for the experimental study of phase transitions of liquids are either not available for scientific and research laboratories in Ukraine, or are not adapted for the study of materials that are not uniform in structure.
Therefore, it is urgent to develop and create a specialized device for studying phase transitions of moisture in non homogeneous materials.
The aim of the project is to develop a method for determining the heat of phase transition of liquids in inhomogeneous samples of raw materials, depending on their structure and properties, and to create a cryogenic calorimeter to implement this method.
The content of the work:
1) research of existing methods and means of experimental research of phase transitions of liquids in materials;
2) formation of generalized functional and design diagrams of the device based on the results of modeling;
3) creation of a prototype device for studying phase transitions of liquids and studying its metrological characteristics;
4) approbation of the device by studying the phase transitions of liquids in materials of various structures and properties.
As a result of the implementation of this scientific project, a method and device will be proposed for studying phase transitions of liquids in heterogeneous materials at cryogenic temperatures, which will allow obtaining data for increasing the efficiency of temperature treatment and storage of thermolabile raw materials.
