«Якщо згадати ситуацію, яку ми мали п’ять років тому, то тоді собівартість 1 кВт потужності сонячної станції становила близько 4 тисяч доларів. Зараз він обходиться в 600-800 доларів. Такий спад цін пояснюється тим, що технології розвиваються, а конкуренція у виробничому напрямку зростає», – пояснив Мухуб Бенменні, додавши, що сонячна енергія вигідна серед відновлюваних джерел ще й тому, що вона проста в експлуатації.
Саме цим експерт пояснює популярність саме сонячних станцій серед приватних споживачів. «Сонячна енергія дуже проста в експлуатації. Вона не вимагає якихось додаткових досліджень перед установкою. Сонце є всюди у відкритому середовищі. Сонячні модулі не вимагають жодної механіки, на відміну від інших джерел енергії. Їх можна ставити скрізь, незалежно від регіону, а сонячні батареї працюють і виробляють енергію навіть тоді, коли ми не бачимо сонця, і взимку теж», – зазначив Бенменні.
Підтримує цей напрям і Європейський банк реконструкції та розвитку, який, зокрема, виділив Україні 25,9 млн. євро на будівництво ще трьох сонячних електростанцій. Проект з ЄБРР передбачає створення нових робочих місць: 350 осіб будуть зайняті в будівництві станції, а 15 осіб — у її обслуговуванні. Зокрема, на будівництво сонячної електростанції у Львівській області ЄБРР планує надати кредит на 10 років на суму 17,3 млн. євро, а CTF (Clean Technology Fund, «Фонд чистих технологій») – 11-річну позику в розмірі 6,9 млн. євро.
