Logvinov Igor Mikhailovich began his studies at the Grozny Petroleum Institute in 1957. Since 1959,
he studied and graduated in 1962 from the Kyiv State University named after them. T. Shevchenko on
thespecialty "Geophysical methods of exploration and exploration of mineral deposits".
I.M. Logvinov is a specialist in the field of geoelectric studies of the crust and mantle of the Earth.
He is engaged in the analysis of the connection of geoelectrical parameters of the environment with
the seismicity of the Carpathian-Crimean region, and Balkanid. Actively participates in the construction
of complex geological and geophysical models in various regions of Ukraine, Russia, Czech, Poland, and
Bulgaria. The results of geoelectric studies I.M. Logvinov, make a considerable scientific and practical
contribution to the deep geophysics, form together in their modern direction. I.M. Logvinov participates
in experimental research and interpretation of data in the territories of the republics of the USSR, Ukraine, Guinea, Poland, Czech, Bulgaria, and Antarctica in the framework of many international projects, namely 1995-1997 – EUROPROBE; 2009-2016 - Czech-Ukrainian; 2012-2014 - BlackSeaHazNet project EU 7-7th Framework Program (PIRSES-GA-2009-246874). The author and co-author of 185 scientific publications in domestic and foreign editions, including 16 monographs.
I. Logvinov carries out organizational work, namely: in 1983-1984 he was the head of the group of geophysics
of the Guinean Research Center of the Marine Hydrophysical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the
USSR (Conakry, Guinea Republic); 2014-2016 - a member of the specialized academic councils for the defense
of theses: D 08.080.05 at the National Mining University (Dnepropetrovsk) and D.26.162.03 at the Scientific
Center for Earth Aerospace Studies of the Institute of Geological Sciences of the National Academy of
Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv).
