Summary:This book is conceived as a look at certain cultural concepts and at the same time as a series of interventions into the history of urbanism and architecture: it’s an account of cities, projects and persons through a performances of different kinds of urban spatialities. Conceptual link between the constructions of space-memory-body-identity made by the author enables to see how[⇒] normative views of gender or national identity are constructed, handled down and dissimilated. At its core is a rethinking of the developments of urban form, the dynamic and reciprocal relations between the society, body and space, and a major change in how we experience urbanism as a way of life.
