Summary:Ця книжка – четвертий том серії оглядових томів з теорії фазових переходів і критичних явищ. Перші три томи вийшли у світ у 2004, 2007 і 2012 рр., відповідно. Книжка містить огляди тих аспектів критичності і пов’язаної з нею тематики, які останнім часом привертають значну увагу. Зміст охоплює п’ять розділів: скейлінг, ренормгруповий підхід у фізиці м’якої речовини і в[⇒] соціофізиці, симуляції Монте-Карло критичних сил Казіміра, аномальна дифузія, кінетика утворення структур. Як і перші три томи, книжка базується на оглядових лекціях, прочитаних у Львові (Україна) під час "Ізінгівських читань", традиційного щорічного семінару з фазових переходів і критичних явищ. Семінар має за мету сприяти контактам між вченими у галузі фазових переходів і критичних явищ та студентами, які цікавляться цією тематикою.

Summary:This book is the fourth in the series of review papers on advanced problems of phase transitions and critical phenomena, the first three volumes appeared in 2004, 2007 and 2012. It presents reviews in those aspects of criticality and related subjects that have currently attracted much attention due to new and essential contributions. The contents are divided into five charters,[⇒] and they include: scaling, renormalization group approaches in soft matter and socio-physics, Monte Carlo simulation of critical Casimir forces, anomalous diffusion, kinetics of pattern formation. As with the first three volumes, this book is based on the review lectures that were given in Lviv (Ukraine) at the «Ising lectures» – a traditional annual workshop on phase transitions and critical phenomena which aims to bring together scientists working in these fields with university students and those who are interested in the subject.
