Summary:Монографію присвячено актуальним проблемам української енциклопедистики — типології українських енциклопедичних видань та їхнім функціональним і жанрово-стильовим особливостям. У дослідженні розглянуто енциклопедії як жанр довідкової літератури, окреслено їхні функції, типологічні ознаки; проаналізовано класифікації енциклопедичних видань; схарактеризовано особливості стилю енциклопедичних статей та енциклопедій загалом.

Summary:The monograph deals with the actual issues of encyclopedia science in Ukraine, in particular, such as the typology of encyclopedias, as well as their functional and genre-and-style features. Encyclopedias as a genre of reference literature in the study is considered. The functions of encyclopedias are highlighted, typological features are showed, classifications of encyclopedic books are analyzed, and the attributes of the style of encyclopedic articles and encyclopedias are characterized.
