Summary:Монографія стала першою в українській історіографії спеціальною роботою, присвяченою аналізу розвитку сучасних єврейських громад Європи. Автору вдалося проаналізувати велику кількість наукових робіт та інших джерел, присвячених історії та культурі єврейства Європи, а також висвітлити основні тенденції та напрямки, властиві сучасній світовій історіографії даної проблеми. Розглядаються питання боротьби з антисемітизмом у Європі, причини масової еміграції європейських євреїв до інших континентів, розвитку єврейської ідентичності, філософії євреїв Європи.

Summary:The monograph became the first in Ukrainian historiography special research work with analysis of the development of contemporary Jewish communities of Europe. The author analyzed a large number of books, articles and other sources devoted to the history and culture of Jewishness in Europe, as well as to highlight the main trends, inherent in the modern world historiography of the problem. Author analyzed process of combating anti-Semitism in Europe, the reasons for the mass emigration of European Jews to other continents, the development of Jewish identity and modern Jewish philosophy and culture of Europe.
