The goal of the cycle of scientific works consists in development of mathematical models and methods for studying the interaction between elastic and thermoelastic bodies with surface and interfacial imperfections in the presence of a medium in contact area taking into account partial frictional slip of the surfaces, and in follow-up study of the effect of a shape of geometric irregularities, the thermal conductivity of interface films and a filler of gaps and cracks, as well as an intensity of the applied force and thermal load on the contact behavior of considered structures. The scientific novelty of the cycle consists in formulating a number of new contact problems of elasticity, heat conduction and thermoelasticity for bodies with surface and interfacial imperfections assuming various physical phenomena in the contact area, and in the proposed method of their solving and the obtained results. The results obtained during performing the cycle are topical to the mechanics of deformable solid and reflect practical needs of geophysics, biomechanics, power engineering, tribology, mechanical engineering, construction industry and other industries. The results of the investigations may be used to evaluate the contact stiffness, strength, tightness and wear of joints under combined thermal and mechanical loads, and to improve the technological properties of surfaces. The cycle of scientific works includes 41 scientific publications, in particular 23 papers in specialized journals, among them 11 papers have been published in international journals from the Scopus database, 4 of which are published in journals having high impact factor (International journal of Solids and Structures, International journal of Heat and Mass Transfer). The overall citation index: 30. The Hirsch index (H-index) of the authors of the cycle is: Slobodian B.S. H-index = 3, Malanchuk N.I. H-index = 3, Chumak K.A. H-index = 2, Serednytska Kh.I. H-index = 1 (according to the Scopus database).
