Probiotic properties of the bacteria of genus Lactobacillus and Bacillus were investigated. It was isolated new strains of lactobacilli from traditional fermented products of Ukraine of plant and animal origin; pigmented strains of genus Bacillus were selected. The studied strains of microorganisms were belonged to probiotic cultures. It was also investigated the biological activity of strains and was highlighted new aspects of the possible ways of its implementation. For the first time it was defined the composition and structural differences of teichoic acids of L. plantarum 11/16 and 195D. It was established that teichoic acids of these strains increase index of phagocytosis and macrophages proliferation but don’t influence in the functional activity of macrophages. It was shown that pigments of B. amyloliquefaciens IМV В-7513 and IМV В-7525 are presented by complex of carbohydrates and lipids. They belonged to С30-apocarotenoids. For the first time it was investigated the regularities of carotenoids synthesis of mentioned above strains in submerged cultivation. It is proved efficiency of the use of carotene synthesizing bacilli strains in vivo. It was shown the ability of B. thuringiensis MB B-7324 to synthesize the extracellular peptidases and was optimized the conditions for its cultivation, scheme of enzyme purification. A result of this was achieved a significant increasing of the enzymatic activity that exceeded level of commercial analog preparations.
Thus, it was suggested new strains for use in industry, medicine and veterinary, as well as was developed the approaches for obtaining of highly active biological products based on them.

The total citation index is over 6 according to the database Google Scholar, the works of authors are cited in more than 15 scientific and applied journals of Ukraine and foreign.
