The work consists of 62 scientific publications, that have been published within last 5 years (2010-2015) and contains 29 articles, 33 abstracts and 2 patents of Ukraine. New approaches in the synthesis of nanocrystalline weakly-agglomerated particles based on AFe2O4 (A = Fe, Co) with spinel structure and M-type barium hexaferrite by sol-gel method and precipitation from non-aqueous and aqueous solutions have been proposed. Sequence of chemical reactions for the synthesis of nanoparticles of compounds with spinel structure based AFe2O4 (A = Fe, Co) by precipitation from non-aqueous and aqueous solutions using NMR spectroscopy have been established. Biocompatible stable over time magnetic fluids based on the nanoparticles and aqueous solutions of agarose have been developed for the first time. The perspective of obtained magnetic fluids as inducers of hyperthermia for cancer treatment has been shown. The effect of the fractal structure of precursors obtained by either precipitation of hydroxicarbonates and sol-gel technique on the phase transformations during the synthesis and the particles’ morphology of nanosize M-type barium hexaferrite has been studied. The optimal fractal structure has been determined, which provides a significant reduction of the temperature of the obtainment of a weakly-agglomerated monodisperse single-phase product as well as the production of nanosize barium hexaferrite with high level magnetic characteristics. The technique for obtaining of high-quality high-density nanocrystalline thin and thick films of M-type BHF has been developed. Crystal, microstructure and electrical properties have been studied. Magnetically resonant microwave elements "high-Q dielectric resonator -Al2O3 - thick film of M-type barium ferrite" have been created based on thick nanocrystalline films of BHF, and recommended as components for microwave technics. The results of the series of the work are of great practical importance for medicine (nanoparticles and magnetic with spinel structure based on AFe2O4 (A = Fe, Co) and microwave technique(i.e. telecommunication systems) (thin and thick nanocrystalline films of M-type barium ferrite). Total number of publication of authors are 29 articles and 33 abstracts, 2 patents of Ukraine were obtained. The total number of citations of authors works is 61 links (according information to the database of Scopus). Hirsch indexes (h-indexes) of authors (according to the database of Scopus) are equal to 2 for Solovyova E.D. and 4 for Yelenich O.V..
