The main purpose of scientific research is the development of high-tech magnetic solid phase extraction (MSPE) for the concentration of a number of ecotoxicants of organic and inorganic nature with subsequent implementation in analytical chemistry of aquatic environments and ecotechnologies of water purification. Also, considerable attention will be paid to the selection and synthesis of sorption materials with given functional groups, including composite with magnetic properties, for MSPE. Within the framework of this project it is planned to solve the following tasks: - to study the processes of sorption extraction and concentration of inorganic ecotoxicants – radionuclides and heavy metals from aqueous media using different forms of LDH, including with magnetic properties; special attention will be paid to increasing the selectivity of sorbents for their use in the treatment of, for example, sewage (during the operation of NPPs equipped with WWER reactors from different sources are formed and accumulated radioactively contaminated wastewater, called sewage), the total content of various components in the mixture of aerial waters is up to 5 g/dm3. Therefore, macrocomponents should not affect the sorption efficiency of toxicants, which will reduce the volume of waste sludge. - improvement of the previous MSPE for the concentration of phenol and its derivatives for its further determination by the fluorimetric method; - evaluation of the possibility of using carbon-containing sorbents and research of their efficiency for extraction of bromides from aqueous solutions for purification of ozonated drinking water from bromate ions, study of the influence of macro- and microcomponents of natural waters on determination of bromat ions.
