Urban water bodies are often subjected to anthropogenic pressures, resulting in a reduction in the biodiversity of aquatic and semi-aquatic animals. At the same time, the transformation of natural biotopes in combination with climate change is forcing birds to increasingly populate urban water bodies. as a result of their stay, the growth of the number and species composition of macrozoobenthos, which is an important food item for fish, may increase. Because of this, fish may experience an increase in viability and an increase in size and mass indicators. At the same time, the presence of bird colonies on water bodies can significantly affect its trophicity and sanitary condition. This is especially felt in small bodies of water. The accumulation of organic compounds in water bodies can affect the vital activity of individual representatives of the ichthyofauna. On lakes with an insignificant area, the presence of bird colonies can lead to siltation and the disappearance of spawning grounds for lithophilous fish. Also, bird colonies can play a significant role in the spread of parasites, in particular specific ones, which can affect the structure and species composition of ichthyofauna. Now in Ukraine, research is being conducted on the distribution of certain colonial species, but basically these works concern only the ecology of birds (in particular, nesting and feeding), as well as the study of their influence on the hydrobiocenoses of urban water bodies. not yet done. The indicated problem is relevant in a number of developed countries of the world, but in Ukraine this issue is not given enough attention. The purpose of this work is to establish the characteristics of the fish population, food supply and parasitocenoses in water bodies / water areas of urbanized areas exposed to long-term impact of bird colonies.
