The aim of the work is to develop a new gel of wound-healing and antimicrobial action with proteolytic enzyme serrathiopeptidase, antiseptic agent and stimulator of tissue regeneration based on carbopol, study of its physicochemical, biochemical properties, medical and biological testing. The topic is relevant because it offers the use of modern chemical and biotechnological approaches to address both fundamental and practical issues: the creation of a new bioactive material based on carbopol, able depending on conditions to sorb a significant amount of inflammatory exudate, have effective anti-inflammatory and proteolytic action, gradually releasing enzyme and biologically active substances (BAS). Treatment of wounds with a high content of necrotic tissues that are difficult to remove in the process of traditional treatment is a serious problem of modern surgery. Domestic medicine uses a large number of drugs for the local treatment of wounds and other skin lesions, but most of them are drugs developed in the middle of last century, inferior in effectiveness and safety to modern ones. Currently, new domestic drugs for the repair of skin lesions are appearing less and less on the shelves of pharmacies, mostly analogues of foreign drugs, so the development of a new drug based on modern advances in pharmaceutical technology is a relevant, important and socially significant study. The obtained biogel with serrathiopeptidase and BAS on the basis of carbopol will be focused on health care, including disaster medicine. Potential consumers include the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (regions and regions), the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, a commercial pharmacy network, departmental and private medical institutions. The expediency of the composition of the wound-healing gel is due to a comprehensive approach, the basis of which is the use of a multicomponent composition that affects the key mechanisms of repair.
