The idea of the research is to develop principles that allow controlling the process of microwave electromagnetic waves propagation in metamaterials to control in real time their spectral, dispersion, waveguide, radiating, and polarization properties. To do this, a modern theory of electromagnetic waves interaction with a metamaterial consisting of magnetic nanostructures, dielectric, metal or chiral elements will be applied. For this purpose, theoretical and experimental studies of the features of microwave electromagnetic waves propagation in such metamaterials and the possibility of controlling their electromagnetic properties will be carried out.
