Results:
| The history, a wide range of directions of actual paleontological science are covered, perspectives of paleontological and stratigraphic researches in Ukraine are outlined;
the results of paleontological and biostratigraphic investigations of the Don-Dnieper Strait are presented, new results of fossil fauna and flora investigations of the Upper Precambrian and Phanerosis of different regions of Ukraine and remote regions are presented;
materials on the study of fossil organisms migration, paleogeography and paleoecology of sedimentation basins, as well as materials on museum work, promotion of science and protection of objects of geological heritage;
a number of problematic and debatable issues of stratigraphy and paleontology were raised.
