Results:
| Despite the difficult conditions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the scientific conference provided an opportunity to exchange new ideas, significant scientific achievements, original facts, conduct a constructive discussion of existing controversial issues and showed a fairly high level of scientific research in the field of geology and modern ecological geology of Ukraine. Thanks to the online format, scientists from all over Ukraine and abroad were able to take part in the conference.
The conference participants noted that it is necessary to intensify research in such scientific areas as stratigraphy, tectonics, petrology, geochemistry, ecogeology, geology of ore fields. In need of urgent support:
• renewal of laboratory facilities and improvement of methods for studying rocks and minerals;
• comprehensive study of rock and ore formations;
• scientific substantiation of ways to reduce man-made waste;
• assistance in waste disposal for the purpose of their efficient use and increasing the mineral and raw material potential of Ukraine.
• study of the stratigraphy and geochronology of the Precambrian complexes of the Ukrainian Shield.
The organizing committee of the conference should prepare an appeal from the scientific community to the President of Ukraine regarding the implementation of the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine dated July 16, 2021 "On stimulating the search, extraction and processing of minerals of strategic importance for the sustainable development of the economy and the state's defense capability", enacted by the Decree President of Ukraine No. 306/2021. |
