Results:
| Despite the extremely difficult conditions caused by the military aggression of the Russian Federation, scientists from all over Ukraine and abroad were able to join the conference. Considerable attention was paid to the hydrocarbon deposits of Ukraine and prospects for finding traditional and unconventional oil and gas reservoirs. Part of the reports concerned ways of improving the metrological support of geological research. Achievements and problems of isotopic chronology were presented, general issues of petrology, stratigraphy and tectonics of Ukraine and their relationship with mineral deposits were considered. The issues of cosmos mineralogy and the prospects of mineral deposits in cosmos were actively discussed.
The conference participants noted that it is necessary to intensify research in such scientific areas as stratigraphy, tectonics, petrology, geochemistry, ecogeology, geology of mineral deposits.
The participants of the scientific conference noted the need for active cooperation between scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and State Service of Geology of Ukraine with geologists of enterprises in the formation of geological tasks, conducting geological work and scientific research on critical mineral materials, especially those necessary for the defense industry of Ukraine.
A shortage of young specialists was noted in both scientific and industrial institutions.
The participants of the conference categorically condemn the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. |
