Results:
| The original geological facts, new research results, interesting thoughts, ideas, hypotheses, etc. expressed in the reports proved that despite the difficult political, social and economic conditions, the study of the geological structure of the territory of Ukraine continues and requires constant constructive public discussion and debate.
Based on the results of the conference, active discussion and debate on the topic of the reports heard, a number of agreed conclusions and proposals were adopted:
1) The conference notes the important role of mineralogical, petrological, isotopic-geochronological and geochemical methods used at the Institute in the study of the Precambrian formations of the Ukrainian Shield. In a complex with no less important geological and geophysical methods, they are a reliable guarantee of effective and efficient research into the history of the formation of the lithosphere of Ukraine in the early Precambrian. The conference recommends expanding and strengthening work in this direction both quantitatively and qualitatively, using creative connections and cooperation with the world's leading laboratories.
2) Low participation in the conference of production geologists is noted.
3) Geological studies that offer solutions to the challenges of martial law were not presented. It is proposed to strengthen work in areas relevant in the war.
4) The shortage of young specialists in both scientific and industrial institutions, the need to create programs for the active involvement of promising young people in scientific research, was again noted. |
