Анотація:Tumours from histiocytes and dendritic cells with a variety of clinical features are among the rarest of neoplastic diseases. The normal cellular counterparts of these neoplasms (mononuclear phagocytes and antigen presenting cells) are derived from bone marrow stem cells but belong to separate line of differentiation. They share specific cytochemical and immunophenotypic characteristics. A variety of monoclonal antibodies can be used as additional immunocytochemical markers for detection of these tumours and for revealing the bone marrow metastases of some solid tumours in children.
