Summary:Книга присвячена одному із символів мінерального царства України – топазу. В ній, окрім основного розділу, де творчо узагальнено власні та літературні дані про мінералогію українського топазу, висвітлено його роль в історії народів, наведено стислу інформацію про родовища, а також про топаз у музеях світу й України. Найбільшу увагу приділено мінералогії топазу з Волинського родовища України. Матеріали подано в авторській редакції.

Summary:The book is devoted to one of the symbols of the mineral kingdom of Ukraine – topaz. In addition to the main section, where the author's own and literary data on the mineralogy of the Ukrainian topaz are creatively synthesized, his role in the history of peoples is highlighted, information on the deposits and also about topaz in the museums of the world and Ukraine are given. The greatest attention is paid to mineralogy of topaz from the Volyn deposit of Ukraine. Materials are provided in the author’s wording.
