Summary:Дослідження присвячено вивченню досвіду підготовки «Енциклопедії українознавства» – фундаментального надбання української енциклопедистики й водночас важливої частини національної культурної спадщини нашої держави. У книзі вперше представлено архівні матеріали, що засвідчують організацію роботи редакції «Енциклопедії українознавства» впродовж 1948—1985 років. Summary:The book is devoted to the representation of the experience in creation of the Encyclopedia of Ukraine as a fundamental achievement in encyclopedia science and at the same time a significant part of the national cultural heritage of Ukraine. This work presents archival documents that describe the functioning of editorial board of the Encyclopedia of Ukraine during 1948–1985.In[⇒] addition, the Encyclopedia of Ukraine is researched as a stage in history of the encyclopedic-and-publishing activity in Ukraine; it is characterized as an object and a source for scientific works.
