Abiotic stress factors can significantly reduce productivity of cops and limit the use of land. More than 800 mil. ga in the world are salted soils. Wold economics suffers great loses (annually more than $10 bil.) because of the soil salinization (Qadir et al., 2014). Therefore, the search of new tolerant to the soil salinization species is a topical subject for the problem of land exploitation elimination due to salinization solution. One of the negative effects of plant growth under the salt stress is reactive oxygen species formation. And one of the oxidative stress effects is autophagy induction as a intracellular adaptive process. Crambe species (Brassicaceae family) are potentially oilseeds due to high and high yield erucic acid content in seeds (Prina, 2008). Species from this genus do not interbreed with other oilseed and food crops that are cultivated at an industrial scale has potential for soil phytoremediation and high abiotic stress tolerance. Nowadays, salt tolerance was demonstrated for only a few Crambe species and there are no research data on salt tolerance of wild Crambe species native to Ukraine. The search for abiotic stress tolerant species and clarification of mechanisms of this tolerance could be useful for further oilseed crops genetic breeding and research.
