Aiming to find radio emission from exoplanets, it is proposed to conduct a survey of nearby stellar systems in the Sun’s galactic environment regardless of whether exoplanets were discovered near these stars or not. There will be chosen from 70 to 100 objects for observation within 5pc. The signals we are searching for are likely to be exoplanetary lightning which are similar to the ones detected in Saturn’s and Jupiter’s atmospheres. The main idea of the project is that powerful lightning on giant planets can be amplified by several orders of magnitude due to the mechanism of the electron cyclotron maser as in case of the cyclotron-maser emission of electrons in the magnetic flux tubes that connect Io and Jupiter. In case of success, a new method of exoplanet detection will be proposed. Thus, for a more detailed and complete understanding of what lightning is on giant planets and possible mechanisms for their amplification and / or the emergence of so-called "superbolts” it is necessary to carry out additional research using and analyzing already received data of observations of lightning on Saturn during a giant forthcoming storm with an emphasis on detecting the most powerful signals and the frequency of their occurrence. Moreover, it is planned to search for similar or any broadband signals on Jupiter in the absence of storms associated with Galilean moons. Another planned task of high importance is Saturn's constant monitoring using the highest possible temporal and spectral resolution as a giant storm on Saturn called the «Great White Spot» is expected within the next 2 years. Therefore, it requires to carry out observations of lightning in the atmosphere of Saturn regularly, and in case of a new storm arises the recordings should be held using the highest possible temporal and spectral resolution.
