Specialization:
Research of the modern and ancient Earth’s magnetic field, magnetism of rocks and minerals; the development of the paleomagnetic method of research and their application to the geotectonics, geodynamics, magnetostratigraphy and magnetochronology. Investigation of the structure and dynamics of geophysical fields which reflect the processes in different earth's layer - tectonosphere, atmosphere, ionosphere, magnetosphere, and also the geophysical factors that determine the state of the environment, in particular the influence of the geomagnetic field on long-range climate change.
I am the author and co-author of 180 scientific articles, including in the leading international journals Geophysical Journal International, Geological Quarterly, Tectonophysics, International Review of Physics, Annals of Geophysics, Physics of the Earth and Planetary Interiors, International Review of Physics, Geologica Carpatica , Quaternary International, Physics and Chemistry of the Earth and others. As a speaker, a member of the scientific and program committees, I participated in over 40 international congresses, conferences, symposia and seminars held in, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus.
In 2015 I became the Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology for the cycle of works "Structure and dynamics of geophysical fields as a reflection of the evolution and interaction of geospheres in Antarctica."
