I, Boychenko Svetlana G., was born November 15, 1968 in Kiev, in the family of workers.
I studed at school № 59 during 1977-1985 in Kyiv
In the period of 1985-1988, I studied at the Kiev Technical College of Transport Construction.
Then I worked as an assistant of laboratory at the Department of Meteorology and Climatology in 1988-1991.
My activities are as follows:
• 1991-1996 – I studied in Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev (specialization of “geoecology”);
• 1998-2001 – Postgraduate of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev (by specialty of the Meteorology, Climatology and Agrometeorology, Scientific Supervisor Doctor – prof. Voloshchuk V.M.);
• 2001 – Candidate of Geographic Sciences. Thesis “The impact of global warming on climatic conditions in the Ukraine and repeatability of the natural catastrophic phenomena”, was defended in Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev;
• 1998-2004 – researcher, assistant and associated professor of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev;
• 2004-2010 – Researcher of S.I.Subbotin Institute of Geophysics NAS of Ukraine;
• 2007 – Doctor of Geographical Sciences. Thesis ”Global and regional climatic fluctuations and possible ecological consequences from them in territory of Ukraine: semi-empirical models, scenarios”, was defended in Odessa State Environmental University;
With 2010 – and until now I am working Leading Researcher of S.I. Subbotin Institute of Geophysics.
The author of more than 130 scientific works and reports in manuscripts, among them 7 monographs (Including in the co-authorship).
