Tetiana Burakhovych was born in 1960 in the city of Rubizhne, Lugansk region.
After graduating from the medium general education school №44 in Kyiv in 1977, worked as a preparer, and then a laboratory assistant at the KSU, simultaneously studied at the correspondence department of the Geological Faculty of the KSU. In 1980 he was transferred to the position of senior technician at the Institute of "UkrGITI". In 1981 he moved to the third course of the permanent department of the Geological Faculty of the KSU.
After graduating from KSU in 1984, he was sent to work at the Institute of Geophysics. SI. Subbotin NAS of Ukraine as an intern-researcher. After the defense of the dissertation and the awarding of the degree of the candidate of geological and mineralogical sciences, since 1994 he worked as a senior researcher. In 1994-1995 he received a scholarship from the President of Ukraine. In 1999 I was awarded the title of senior scientific worker in the specialty "Geophysics". From 2000 to 2003 he was a Ph.D. student at the Institute of Geophysics. Since 2003 I have been working as a leading researcher in the position of Doctor of Geological Sciences. In 2017 he received the academic title of Professor in specialty 103 - "Earth Sciences".
The author of 145 publications, including 15 monographs and 86 publications (after the defense of the doctoral dissertation 11 monographs and 51 scientific work) in domestic and international peer-reviewed journals
