Oksana Anatolyivna Kornienko was born on March 10, 1980 (Ukraine, Katyuzhanka village, Vyshgorod district, Kyiv region), in 2004 she graduated from the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" (Kyiv), specialty: "Technology of functional (technical) ceramics".
Since 2004, he has been working at the Frantsevich Institute for Problem in Materials Science of the National academy of sciences of Ukraine. In January 2011, she defended her thesis on the topic "Phase equilibria in systems of cerium, zirconium, hafnium and lanthanide oxides" for the degree of candidate of chemical sciences.
The decision of the presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine dated April 22, 2011 (protocol No. 9-07/4) awarded the scientific degree of candidate of chemical sciences in the specialty of physical chemistry.
In 2013, she entered doctoral studies at the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine with a break from production, majoring in 02.00.04 - physical chemistry. In May 2021, she defended her dissertation on the topic "Phase equilibria in the systems of oxides of d-elements of group IV and oxides of lanthanides", for obtaining the scientific degree of Doctor of Chemical Sciences. Based on the decision of the attestation board dated June 29, 2021, the degree of Doctor of Chemical Sciences in the specialty of physical chemistry was awarded. Since 2018, he has been working as the head of the "Functional ceramics based on rare earths" department. In January 2022, she received the title of "Senior researcher".
