Born in Chisinau, Moldova. In 1981 I graduated high school № 44 with the gold medal. 1981 - 1987 – studies at the Moscow State University M.Lomonosov (Faculty of Physics, Department of Geophysics). 1987 - 1989 - work at the Institute of Geology and Geophysics of the Moldovan Academy of Sciences, Kishinev. 1987 - 1991-postgraduate study at the Institute of Geophysics. S.I.Subbotin, Kyiv, Ukraine. From 1991 to the present time - the usual continuous scientific research and teaching work.
