I, Anatoly Petrovich Gorovenko, was born in the family of a railwayman on August 8, 1944y. in the city of Fastiv, Kyiv region. After graduating from middle school, I worked as a mechanic at the Institute of Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences; and in 1963y. became a student of the Radiophysics Faculty of the University of Kyiv. The received a diploma in higher education in 1968y. in speciality radiophysics. Then I served for two years in the Аrmy as an engineer-lieutenant at the Sary-Shagan landfill. After demobilization I entered the postgraduate study at the KSU T.G. Shevchenko, and after graduating from the postgraduate studies in 1973y. worked at the Research Institute "Hydropribor" (Kiev). Then worked at the Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences, and then at the Institute of Electric Welding E.O. Paton of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine as an chief engineer.
In 1983y. defended thesis on the specialty of mechanics of gas, liquids and plasmas; in the dissertation the problems of wave diffraction on structures of different geometry are considered.
In the Division of Geodynamics of the Explosion of the Institute of Geophysics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Ukraine I work the senior science collaborator with from 1985y. to this time. I was involved in the creation of large-scale explosive chambers and the diffraction of pressure waves by spherical obstacles in various matrices. I am currently working on the experimental study of the influence of ultrasonic waves on liquid filtration by the cores of geoenvironments.
