In 1978 graduated from the KSU with a degree in geophysical engineer. From September 1978 to May 1984 he worked in the seismometry department as an engineer. From May 1984 to September 1991, junior researcher of the seismometry department. From 1986 to 1990, correspondence postgraduate studies at the Institute of Geophysics. From September 1991 to April 2000 he was an engineer of the I category of seismometry department. Since April 2000 he is currently a leading engineer in the seismic hazard department.
During his work in the Institute of Geophysics, 14 scientific articles were published independently and in co-authorship, co-author of 11 reports.
During the reporting period he was engaged in the seismic hazard department with the following problems:
1) the primary processing of instrumentally registered seismological information
in the National Seismological Center;
2) the collection and formation of computer databases of registered earthquakes at stations of the National Seismological Center;
3) specification of seismotectonic and geological and geophysical conditions of weakly seismic platform territories on the example of the Eastern European platform;
4) applying epicenters of earthquakes in the western part of Ukraine using the map of bursting violations and lineaments of the southwest of the USSR (tectonic basis);
5) took over the experience of seismological stations in Lviv, Uzhhorod, Simferopol, Yalta.
During the reporting period, he co-authored 7 reports.
In March 2000 he was elected deputy chairman of the trade union committee of the Institute of Geophysics.
In January 2012 he was elected chairman of the trade union committee of the Institute of Geophysics.
