Chorna Oksana, a Ukrainian woman, was born in 1965 in Novosibirsk (Russia), in a family of scientists. In 1982 she finished the secondary school No. 164 in Kiev. In 1979 - 1980 she studied in Kiev natural-science lyceum No. 145. Since 1982 to 1988 she studied at the department of mathematical physics of faculty of mechanics and mathematics of Kyiv Taras Shevchenko State University. Since August to November 1988 employed in the Institute of Geophysics by S.I. Subbotin name of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine on the engineer’ positions. Since 1988 to 1991 had the Institute’s post-graduate course. In 1991 she received the position of junior R&D fellow in the Deep Earth processes and Gravimetry Dept. of this institute. In 1999 she upheld the thesis "Investigation of Inverse Problem of the Logarithmic Potential Theory for Bodies Resembling the Given Ones" and received the candidates’ (PhD) degree in Physics & Math’s for Geophysics. Since 2000 to 2002 she held the position of R&D fellow and since 2002 till now the position of senior R&D in the same place.
Since 2003 to 2010 she worked part-time as the associate professor at the Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University at department of geophysics of geological faculty. She taught discipline "The theory of processing of geophysical information". Since 2004 to 2014 also she taught disciplines "Theoretical bases of modeling in ecology", "Fundamentals of ecology", "Dangerous processes in a technosphere" at department of ecology of the National Aviation University. The author over 50 papers in Ukrainian and Russian peer-reviewed journals
