I Sheremet Georgy Prokhorovich was born April 12, 1945 in the town of Kozelets Chernihiv region.
In 1963 I entered the Faculty of Physics of the Kyiv State University named after. T.G. Shevchenko, whose full course in physics graduated in 1968. Qualified physicist in specialty rigid body optics.
In 1968-1970 he served as a lieutenant in the army, where, as a specialist in optics, he participated in the collection of information on laser location targets.
In the period from 1970 to 1987 he worked first as an engineer, and then mn.s. in the Kyiv Research Institute of the MP. In 1983 he defended his Ph.D. thesis on "Features of the near-order amorphous and crystalline materials of AIIII-VVI systems". Decision of the Council of Lviv University named after. Ivan Franko from January 12, 1983, protocol No. 14 was awarded to the academic degree of the candidate of physical and mathematical sciences. The diploma of the candidate of sciences № 003580, Moscow, July 6, 1983. Since March, 1987, I have been working as a senior researcher at the Division of Exploding Geodynamics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine on the issues of quasistatic and fast-moving processes of deformation and distribution of stress fields in the geophysical environment and the development of opto-strain gauge methods for the intensification of mineral extraction.
