Yuliia Shlapa was born on September 10, 1992, village Milushy, Lutskyi district, Volynskyi region, Ukraine. In 2009-2014 years, she studied at Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University, Lutsk (chemical faculty) and gained the Master’s degree. In 2014-2017 years, she was a post-graduate student at Vernadskii Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry of the NAS of Ukraine, Kyiv (solid-state chemistry department). Defended a PhD thesis "Synthesis and properties of nanoscale particles and core/shell structures based on (La,Sr)MnO3" in 2018. From November 2017 till present, she has been working as the research assistant of solid-state chemistry department in IGIC of the NAS of Ukraine.
Scientific interests are devoted to synthesis of nanosized magnetic oxide materials with the spinel structure and composites based on them, study their morphology and physical-chemical properties for further promising application in medicine.
