Анотація:Видання присвячено огляду сучасного стану, історії досліджень та перспектив розвитку природничих колекцій, а так само досліджень на основі вивчення колекцій, як морфологічного матеріалу, так і етикеткових даних і каталогів. В основі збірника — повідомлення учасників V Міжнародної конференції циклу «Природнича музеологія», що проходила в Києві 7—8.10.2019 під назвою «Природничі музеї в Україні: становлення та перспективи розвитку» і була присвячена 100-річчю заснування Зоологічного музею Української Академії Наук в Києві.

Анотація:This volume is devoted to the overview of the current state, research history and prospects of development of natural history collections, as well as to research based on the study of collections, both morphological materials and label and catalogue data. The book includes publications prepared by participants of the Fifth International Conference of the cycle «Natural History Museology» held in Kyiv on 7—8 October 2019 under the title «Natural History Museums in Ukraine: Formation and Prospects for Development» and dedicated to the 100th anniversary of establishment of the Zoological Museum of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences in Kyiv.
