Анотація:У монографії викладено результати вивчення систематичного складу черевоногих молюсків із верхньокрейдових відкладів Волино-Поділля та з’ясовано їх значення для вирішення завдань стратиграфії і палеографії. Монографічно описано 130 видів черевоногих 36 родин і 67 родів. Виділено комплекси черевоногих, характерні для певних місцевих стратиграфічних підрозділів, виявлено залежність їх видового багатства від певних фаціальних умов. Досліджено вплив палеографічних умов в окремих ділянках палеобасейну на екологічну структуру угруповань та її зміни упродовж крейдового періоду. Визначено ступінь фауністичної подібності крейдових черевоногих Волино-Поділля до ізохронних регіональних фаун Європи.

Анотація:The results of research of the systematic composition of Cretaceous gastropods from Volyn-Podillya are revealed in the monograph. Their importance in resolving stratigraphical and paleogeographical problems has been shown. There are 130 gastropods species described monographically. They belong to 36 families and 67 genera. Gastropods assemblages were detected in the region, each of them being characteristic of a separate regional stratigraphical subdivisions, and particular influence of different facies conditions on the gastropods taxonomical composition has been investigated. Changes of taxonomical structure of communities have been defined and the specific abundance of gastropods in Albian-Maastrichtian time has been evaluated. Changes of the communities ecological structure in the Cretaceous have been considered and relations between the group distribution and paleogeographical conditions have been founs out. The most optimal conditions for gastropods development were presented during initial stages of transgression and final stages of regression. Basing on the comparison of Cretaceous gastropods from Volyn-Podillya and European isochronal regional faunas, their faunistic similarity has been evaluated.
