10 квітня 2019 року відбудеться черговий захід у межах спільного семінару Інституту проблем математичних машин та систем (ІПММС) НАН України й Інституту досліджень науково-технічного потенціалу та історії науки імені Г.М. Доброва НАН України «Інформаційне суспільство: досягнення та виклики» («Informational society: progress and challenges»).
Тема: «Кібертонія та хакери: субкультури програмістів СССР та США».
Доповідач – докторант Інституту досліджень науково-технічного потенціалу та історії науки імені Г.М. Доброва НАН України кандидат історичних наук Сергій Жабін.
У лекції мова піде про субкультуру «Віртуальну країну Кібертонію» 1960-х років радянських програмістів із Інституту кібернетики. Буде здійснено порівняння Кібертонії з рухом американських хакерів і зроблено спробу зрозуміти, якими були вчені-кібернетики в умовах хрущовської Відлиги, як проводили своє дозвілля, яку мали свободу наукової творчості й можливості обговорювати науку та суспільство.
